There is a big part of my photographic heart that loves finding and documenting places. Although I am not in a life stage that lends itself to a ton of traveling, when I do, exploring my new surroundings is like sweet candy for my eyes. This weekend during a short camping trip to Michigan’s upper peninsula with my 4 year old son I might as well been in Willie Wonka’s Chocolate Factory.
While I anticipate portraiture will remain my primary photography focus, I am hopeful at some point my photography will open up opportunities to be used in a more editorial context (e.g., magazines, books, newspapers). Please feel free to pass my name along to those who might have a need for photography along those lines. Of course if you or someone you know is getting married in the UP I am all in for that!
